If you were a cheerleader on either the BCHS football or competition squad, you had a great year. The football squad was on the sidelines to see the Royals win their second region title in three years. The competition squad won their second state title in the past three years.

Many of the athletes were on both squads. Monday night, both gathered with family and a few friends at Traditions to celebrate them. Everyone received letter certificates.

Many things were handed out. Those who had earned them received patches for their letter jacket. Football squad members received framed pictures, competition squad members received their glittery bows as well as season DVD’s.

The awards given out went to both squads. Winners were as follows. Scholar Athlete: Freshmen- Anna Kate Wall, Annabelle Land, Kenzie Dykes, Presley Goins, Taylor Herndon.

A new award for this year was the “Smart Cookie” award given to the highest GPA in each class. Winners were: Annabelle Land, Anna Claire Dean, Bailey Enright, and Graycen Phinazee.

| Captain's Award. |
The Captain’s Award for both game and competition went to Graycen Phinazee and Chesney White. Congratulations to both squads on their great seasons and all the award winners.
