Another good football season celebrated.

Two things have become tradition for Royals Football under head coach Von Lassiter. The team having good seasons and celebrating them on Super Bowl Sunday.



The team gathered together to celebrate the 2023 season that saw BCHS win their second region title in three years February 11 at the First Baptist Church Hangar. Award winners were as follows.



Tom Porter FCA Christian Athlete Award- Kam Everett. Jimmy Kilpatrick Leadership Award- JB Jenkins. Sam Barrs Leadership Award- Rod Flagg.
Most Outstanding Special Teams Player- Ford Childers. Impact Freshman- Levi Deason. Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman- Cale Rowland.



Most Outstanding Defensive Lineman- Tug Pasby. Most Outstanding Linebacker- Cam Beck. Most Outstanding Defensive Back- Iverson Baker.
Most Outstanding Receiver- Marcus Newson. Brent Dubois Strongest Man Award- Amarian Burns. Most Outstanding Offensive Back- Josh Stanley, Jr.



Ben Dykes Hustle Award- Markeze Brown. Don Turknett Hustle Award- Tyrek Mack. Everett was named Offensive MVP. Baker won Defensive MVP. The Coaches Award went to Nazario Johnson and Xavier Anderson.



Captain’s Awards went to Newson, Roland, Beck, Baker, Everett, and Flagg. Scholar Athlete Awards went to- Newson, Kaden Perkins, Connor Cairney, and Brody Fleming. Congratulations to all the award winners.
