Royals shut down Dublin.

BCHS continued their region series with Dublin Wednesday evening. The Royals had little trouble with the Irish.

Two runs in the first and second and three in the fourth capped all the scoring in a 7-0 win. Clayton Beck faced minimal threats from Dublin, giving up four hits, no walks, and striking out six over seven innings. He was also 3 for 4 with 1 RBI.

Shane Knighton


The only negative for Bleckley was the offense leaving nine on base, including the bases loaded one inning. Shane Knighton went 2 for 3 with 2 RBI. Gavin Cole was 2 for 3. Jacob Grant went 1 for 2 with a double.

Bleckley wraps up the series with Dublin in Dublin April12 at 5:30 pm.
