Soccer teams celebrate good seasons.

The Lady Royals had a large sophomore class.


It was another good season for both the Lady Royals and Royals soccer teams. Each made the playoffs with the girls advancing to the quarterfinals for a second straight year.

Girls all region selections.


Players, coaches, and families got together to celebrate the teams Monday night. In speaking about the girls senior class, coach Courtney White noted this was the most successful, having won a region title, and two elite eight appearances. Letter certificates were given to all players.

Girls all-region selections were recognized next. They were: Goalie of the Year, Nyra Waters. First team, Carys Copeman, McKenzie Perkins, Jana Tomlin, and Chesney White. Ellen Arnold, Kyla Davis, Claira Lynch, and Emmy Kay Williams made second team. Elyce Potts and Kylie Reid were honorable mentions.

Specific awards were as follows. Offensive MVP- Kyla Davis. Defensive MVP- Jana Tomlin. Coaches Award- Emmy Kay Williams. Hustle Award- McKenzie Perkins, Chesney White. Overall MVP- Carys Copeman.

Boys underclassmen.


The boys received miniature soccer balls. They also recognized all region selections. First team- Riley Lawson, Cale Rowland, Joshua Morris. Second Team- Junior Telles, Will Holloway, Marco Garcia. Honorable mentions- Sam Holloway, Jonah Kelley.

Boys all region and award winners.


Boys awards were as follows. Best Defender- Cale Rowland. Best Midfielder- Marco Garcia. Lawson won Best Striker and MVP. Congratulations to all the award winners.
