Great seasons by track teams celebrated.

BC had many region champions.


It was a good season for both the girls and boys track teams. The girls won their third straight region title, the boys their second. The girls finished state runner up.

State winners.


The season was celebrated Wednesday night in the BCHS Lunchroom. All players received letter certificates. Those who won individual or group (IE girls 4x100 team) titles at region and state were recognized.

State record breaking teams were recognized next. The girls 4x100 team of Jaleyia Brown, Camira Ates, Riley Haley, and Lyric Stephens broke the school record with a time of 49.14. Brown, Stephens, along with Kemyah Anderson and Emma Wilson broke the 4x200 relay school record with a time of 1:47.34.

Wilson, along with Scout Toddy, Natalie Kitchens, and Claira Lynch, broke the 4x400 school record with. a time of 4:11.89. Lynch, along with Lauren Kitchens, Lily Farrell, and Ella Gibbs broke the school record in the 4x800 with a time of 9:37.80.

Overall MVP's.


The final recognition was Overall Season Awards. Distance running MVP. Girls- Lily Farrell. Boys Logan Camp. Sprint- Lyric Stephens, Iverson Baker. Field events- Jordan Mathis, Jeremy Brown. Overall MVP’s- Ella Gibbs, Caleb Darsey. Congratulations to all the award winners.
