Basketball teams have little trouble with Yellow Jackets.

BCMS wrapped up their brief homestand Monday afternoon against Jeff Davis. It proved to be a good day as both the Lady Barons and Barons won easily.

Janiya Owens had 12 first half points as BC had a 19-5 lead at halftime. Her buzzer beater at the end of the third made it 25-9. She finished with 15 points as Bleckley won 30-10.

Jamir Thompson


The Barons led 14-4 at halftime and held the Yellow Jackets to two points in the third. Reserves played much of the fourth quarter. Athen Nobles hit a three as time expired in the fourth as BC won 32-14.

CJ Taylor


Bleckley travels to Swainsboro December 12. Girls play at 4 pm with boys to follow.
