The Bleckley County Board of Education met in regular session Tuesday night. The only item voted on during the regular session was an amendment to the Strategic Waiver contract which was approved during the vote on consent items. You can find info on it at the link below.

There were some items of note from the executive session. Approved was the resignation due to retirement of teacher and drama department (One Act, Royal Singers, Beta Club singers) assistant Vicki Speck as well as teacher and coach William Barham, effective at the end of the school year.
Tyler Kinsler was hired as a teacher and coach and added to the BCHS baseball staff. Jeremy Marshall was added to the athletic staffing plan as a high school track coach. Morris Ross was added as a middle school track coach.
There was one special recognition Tuesday night. Scout Toddy was recognized for being selected to the State School Superintendent Advisory Board.
