Senior recognition part of a busy night at the baseball field.

BCHS was set to play Central Friday with a chance to win region for the fifth straight year. However, the Chargers chose to forfeit the game Friday afternoon.

However, that didn't stop the other planned activities. There was still senior night recognition before a planned white stripes vs purple stripes intersquad scrimmage.

As would be the case if it were a regular game, rec. department baseball and softball players got to go on the field and stand with the Royals was the national anthem was played before the scrimmage.

Rec. department baseball and softball players got the opportunity to stand with high schoolers during the national anthem.


After the scrimmage which saw the purple stripes score two in the top of the seventh then hold on to win 7-6, it was time to present the region trophy.

For the Royals, it was the fifth straight title overall. BC will open the state playoffs at home April 25, their opponent is TBD.
