Good soccer seasons celebrated.

Both the Lady Royals and Royals soccer teams had good overall seasons. Both teams made the playoffs, both had players make the all-region teams. The girls finished with an overall record of 10-7.

An awards banquet was held Monday night. All players received their letter certificates. Specific awards were as follows. Girls. Best defense-Jalycia Stanley, Addison Hill. Best Offense- Ellen Arnold. Coaches Award- Reese Lightsey. Arnold also received the Hustle award. Jana Tomlin was named MVP.

Coaches award and Hustle award.


Arnold and Stanley were both second team all-region selections. Tomlin was a first team selection and was also recognized for making the all-state team. Tomlin recorded 223 saves during the season, the most in Class A, Division 1.



Boys awards. Best defense- Jaxon Davis. Best midfielder- Grayson Arnold. Best attacker- Riley Lawson. Most improved- Terrollieo Brimidge. Lawson was named MVP.

All region selections. Honorable Mention- William Dean. Second team- Jonah Kelly. First team- Jaxon Davis, Harrison Rogers, Riley Lawson. Congratulations to all the award winners.
