Good seasons by track teams celebrated.

The girls team.


It was a good season for BCHS track despite some early season adjustments in coaching. The girls won their fourth straight region title. The boys just missed winning region by one event.

State champions and runners up. (not all athletes pictured.)


At state, the girls finished fourth. The boys, despite only sending 10 people to Rome, brought home the second state title in program history. The season and the athletes involved were celebrated Wednesday night.

All athletes received letter certificates and T-Shirts. The girls for winning region, the boys for winning state. Those who finished state champ\ion or state runner up were recognized as were those who broke state records.

Award winners.


Specific awards were as follow. Short distance MVP’s- Lyric Stephens, Jalycia Stanley, Nykez Farrow. Long distance MVP’s- Natalie Kitchens, Jack Harrell. Field MVP’s- Jordan Mathis, Reese Bryant, TJ Fountain, William Arnold. Overall MVP’s- Lily Farrell, Caleb Darsey. Congratulations to all the award winners.
