It was another busy fall for both the BCHS football and competition cheerleaders. The football squad was on the sidelines every game (even the rainy ones) to cheer on the Royals as they made a run to the sweet 16. The competition squad had to deal with several issues including injuries. Despite that, despite some rough regular season performances, BC won region and finished sixth at state.

Squad members, coaches, families, and friends gathered in the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall Monday night to celebrate both squads and their seasons. Head coach Heather Davis shared her love for both squads and all they’d accomplished this year. She encouraged everyone to be thankful for the success in not only cheerleading and football, but in other sports because some schools didn’t have it.
