BCHS made the short trip across the river Friday night to renew the rivalry with Hawkinsville. It was a good night for the BC teams, especially the boys offensively.

The Lady Royal had an easy night. They led 28-2 at halftime and rolled 48-5. Kalyria Jones had 18 points.

Lyric Stephens

Patrick Roberts had 15 first half points as the Royals had a season best 32 first half points and led 32-30. The pace slowed in the third with BC taking a three-point lead to the fourth quarter.

Marty Beck

In the fourth, after the Red Devils cut an eight-point lead in half, Bleckley closed the game on a 17-0 run, punctuated by Rashod Farrow’s buzzer-beating three, to win 64-43. The 64 points was a season high. Roberts finished with 21 points. Marty Beck had 13 points.
