BCHS began their final week of regular season play at home Monday night against FPD. The Vikings run ruled the Royals when the teams met in March. Though BC played better, they couldn’t catch up.

Casey Finch

FPD jumped out to a 6-0 lead. BC got two runs in the bottom of the third, but a double play ended the threat. It was one of two turned by FPD.

Lane Sapp

Down 9-2 in the sixth, a two on, one out opportunity produced no runs. The Vikings got another in the seventh. Though the Royals scored three times, they lost 10-5.

Walker Boatright

BC outhit FPD 12-8 but left seven on base. Starting pitcher Gavin Cole gave up seven runs but 0 earned runs due to two errors. Walker Boatright was 3 for 4 with a double. Lane Sapp was 2 for 3 with 2 RBI.

Noah Woodard and Casey Finch was 2 for 3. Brody Fleming was 2 for 4 with 1 RBI. Bleckley has their final regular season home games tomorrow versus Central in a doubleheader. Game one starts at 4 pm. Senior night recognition will take place between games.
