Rec. department teams and the BCMS football team got to run out of the tunnel Friday night. Rec. department cheerleaders got to cheer along with the Royal cheerleaders before the game. |
If one word could be used to describe the Bleckley County football team this season, it'd likely be "incomplete." Even against Southeast Bulloch, the Royals were down 14-0 before rallying to win. Hosting Toombs in the final home game of 2008, fans saw the mix of good and bad plays which has led to the team's 1-8 record.

Dalton Dabbs had 49 yards on eight carries. Roy Veal, who had 17 yards on seven first-half carries, saw limited second-half duty. Veal, who's battled a sprained ankle throughout the season, appeared to tweak it on the wet surface.
