Here are some of the Christmas events at local churches upcoming.
Bethany Baptist Church: Drive Through Bethlehem December 13-15. Walk through that Friday, drive through other nights. 6-8 pm each evening. December 22: Adult choir Cantata "Christ was born for this." Children's musical that evening at 6. Communion service Christmas Eve at 5 pm.
Cochran First United Methodist Church: Christmas Eve Candlelight Communion Service 5:30 pm. Call the church office for more information, 478-934-6942.
Cochran First Church of the Nazerene: Christmas Cantada December 15 at 6 pm. Refreshments afterward.
Cornerstone Church of Cochran: "Front Porch Concert" featuring Christmas songs from the Matthew White Band December 6 after Christmas parade. "Cornerstone Christmas" December 22 featuring Matthew White Band, Anna Bryan, Chris Bambrough, and others. Refreshments will be served afterward.
First Baptist Church: Children's choir musical will be on December 8 at 5:30 pm in the fellowship hall. The Sanctuary choir will lead an "interactive" Christmas worship experience on December 15 at 5:30 pm in the fellowship hall entitled "Come Messiah, King." Candlelight Communion service December 24 at 5 pm.
Lakeview Baptist Church: Youth Christmas play "Celebrate the Day" December 15 at 6 pm.
Limestone Baptist Church: Children's choir program December 8 at 7 pm. Adult choir program December 15 at 7 pm. Christmas Eve service December 24 at 6 pm.
Mt. Calvary Baptist Church: Youth Christmas program December 7. Spaghetti dinner at 6 pm (donations only) show at 7. December 15: Adult choir musical "Smokey Mountain Christmas" at 11 am and 6 pm. December 22: Candlelight Communion service December 22 at 6 pm.
Trinity Episcopal Church: Christmas Eve service 10:30 pm.
