Summer is here. Children are out of school. Two words that many parents hear are "I'm bored!"
One thing they can do that won't cost anything is send their children to Vacation Bible School. Here are the listings received thus far.
Bethany Baptist Church- "Journey off the Map." June 22-26, 6-8:30 pm. Meal provided each night, final evening is parent's night.
Church of the Nazarene- "Shine." June 21-25, 6-8:30 pm. Closing ceremony, June 26 at 6 pm. Snacks each night, meal provided that Friday. Transportation available. Call Linda Peacock, 478-795-0109.
First Baptist Church- "Journey off the Map." June 1-5, 9 am-noon. Pre register online at www.fbccochran.com
Lakeview Baptist Church- "Hometown Nazareth." June 15-19, 6-8:30 pm.
Limestone Baptist Church- "Everest." June 7, 6-9 pm, June 8-11 6:30-9 pm. Ages three-upcoming sixth graders. Adult classes also offered. Meal provided.
Macedonia Baptist Church- "SonSpark." Registration June 7, 5:30. Classes held June 15-19, 6-8 pm. Commencement party, June 20 at 10 am.
Mt. Calvary Baptist Church- "Back to the Basics," for ages four through fifth grade. June 15-19, 6-9 pm. Call 478-230-7182 for more information.
Ruth Baptist Church- "Camp Kilimanjaro," for ages 3-12. June 14-18, 5:30-8:45 pm. Light meal provided each night. Commencement ceremonies that Thursday at 7 pm.
Salem Baptist Church- "Journey off the Map." June 1-5, 6-9 pm.
Union Hill Baptist Church- "Cross Culture- Thailand Trek." June 22-25, 6-8:30 pm.
