Tori Long touches home plate to score a run. The Monticello catcher had the plate blocked but didn't have the ball.

BCHS wrapped up play at the Paw Print Classic on a sticky Tuesday afternoon. This was a shorter visit for the Lady Royals as the team will be playing scrimmage games in Schley County tomorrow. On the injury front, Faith Harris had have her knee stitched up Monday after getting cleated. She will be out for about a week.

Riley Edge pitched, played shortstop (pictured) as well as first base.

The first contest was against former region foe Monticello. Abbey Sims' inside the park two-run home run was part of a four-run third. The Lady Canes answered with four. BC scored two in the fourth then held on 6-5.

Landa Dominy slides into third base.

Sims was 2 for 3 with a triple and 3 RBI. Taylor Dykes was 2 for 3 with a double and triple. Aliyah Whitead and Emily Sanders each went 1 for 2 with 1 RBI. Tori Long was 1 for 2.

Caroline Thrower gets the ball from Ashlyn Williams at first.

Next up was Jackson High School. Two in the second and a four-run fourth were plenty of runs for Bailey Odom who pitched the shutout 6-0. Landa Dominy was 2 for 2 with a double. Riley Edge went 1 for 2 with 1 RBI. Odom also went 1 for 2.

Jayla Willis gets under a ball in centerfield.

Starr's Mill was the final opponent. Bleckley scored five runs on two outs in the second. Up 7-2 after three, a seven-run bottom of the fourth secured their 14-2 win and 6-0 finish in Forsyth.

Jordan Williams sets to throw from short.

Jordan Williams went 3 for 3 with 2 RBI. Edge went 3 for 4 with a double and 1 RBI. Long was 3 for 4 with 3 RBI. Whitehead was 3 for 4 with 1 RBI. Dominy went 2 for 4 with 3 RBI. BCHS plays a pair of scrimmage games in Ellaville versus Schley County Wednesday at 10 am and noon.
