Lady Barons outlast JR Trippe.

With the regular season winding down, every game for the Lady Barons is important. With a win against JR Trippe, BCMS could even the season series as well as keep the chance for a second seed in the playoffs alive.

Trailing 2-0, Chloe Mullis' two-out, two-run double in the bottom of the third capped a three-run inning. The Lady Chiefs answered with four in the fourth. BC answered with five in the home half then got a fifth inning sac fly and sixth inning RBI single from Katherine Purser to go up 10-7.

JRT though wasn't done, scoring three in the seventh to tie the score. Reagan Wimberly reached on catcher's interference in the home half to lead off. Mishayla Brown walked. Allie Keel's single loaded the bases. Purser walked with the bases loaded, scoring Wimberly, to give the Lady Barons an 11-10 win.

Purser finished 2 for 3 with a double and 3 RBI. Brown was 2 for 3. Keel went 2 for 3 with 1 RBI. JaNaylah West was 3 for 4 with a double. Bleckley plays at West Laurens Monday. Game time is 4 pm.
