Bleckley FFA enjoying good fall.

Bleckley FFA sent eight members to the National convention held October 19-22 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Evan Thomas, Jacob Smith, Tucker Felkins, and Blake Bohannon placed fifth in the Environmental Natural Resources CDE.

The Agricultural Technology and Mechanical Systems team L-R: Jeff Miller, Adam Parker, advisor Walt Parks, Cale Floyd, and Henry Richardson.


Cale Floyd, Henry Richardson, Jeff Miller, and Adam Parker placed 13th in the Agricultural Technology and Mechanical Systems CDE. Events were held at the Indianapolis Convention Center, Lucas Oil Stadium, and the Indiana State Fairgrounds. Also attending were members John Austin Stewart and Tyler Brack. Both received their American FFA degrees.

The Junior and Senior Land Judging teams traveled to Fort Valley State University for the State Career Development Event October 29. The Senior team of Tucker Felkins, Blake Bohannon, Evan Thomas, and Jacob Smith placed second. Felkins was first individually, Thomas third.

The Junior team of Louie Lumley, Lizzy Parks, Jayshon Gardner, and Hunter Harper placed fifth. Parks was top individual. The Land Judging Career Development Event is sponsored by Georgia Farm Credit Associations as a special project of the Georgia FFA Foundation.
