BleckleyProgress.com has been going strong for over ten years. It's been my honor to cover the community. During that time, I've never forgotten a home game in any sport.
As the expression goes, there's a first time for everything. It's been very busy lately. Lots of content. Many things to keep up with. So much so that for the first time ever, I forgot about a home game.
I completely forgot about Monday's home middle school home basketball game versus Swainsboro. Blame it on too much going on, the weather, whatever. I forgot, and apologize to you for it.
Tonight, I would normally be in attendance at the high school basketball region opener versus Northeast Macon. However, an incident happened while covering the football game versus Northeast at Thompson Stadium.
The incident included a threat to my safety. Thus, my father, Business Manager David Whitaker does not wish me to attend. I will of course post scores. Thanks for your understanding and continued support of the site.
