Region play resumed for BCMS Thursday at Dublin. The Lady Barons sought to remain perfect while the Barons looked to rebound from yesterday's close loss against Wilcox County.

This basket by Jalexia Taylor gave the Lady Barons a lead they wouldn't relinquish.

A Lady Irish three with ten seconds left in the first tied things at eight. Jalexia Taylor had four points in a 10-2 second quarter run that gave BC a 20-12 halftime lead. Bleckley's 12-point lead was cut to seven in the third but Kiara Gilbert's basket pushed it back to nine. The Lady Barons went on to win 38-29.

Ethan Hulsey got this shot to fall.

Down 18-2 after one quarter, Ethan Hulsey and Jahmir Marshall combined for nine points but the Barons still trailed 32-13 at halftime. They went on to lose 55-29.

Jhamir Marshall scores.

Next week's game against Swainsboro has been moved to January 18. Tip time remains 4 pm in Swainsboro.
