One makes it two in a row, one season ends.

(photo courtesy contributor.) Softball playoffs continued Saturday for both the 12 and 10-u softball teams. The 12-u made it two in a row by defeating Reidsville 10-5. They will clinch a state berth with a win versus Dodge County Monday at 8 pm in Claxton. The team is pictured with Brandon Keel, Richie Hulsey, Ken Youngblood, Scott Kletchke, and head coach Jeff Mickle.

Not over yet: 8-u boys headed to state. ****Corrected June 19***

Jacoby Mullis signs a baseball that was to be given to teammate Eli Wynne. The players thought that was the only reason for their gathering.
Monday, it appeared the 8-u season would end in heartbreak and controversy. They'd lost a coinflip to Crawford County despite having the same record in district, and was denied a rematch against them due to a bracket error. But Wednesday night, the team learned their season would continue.
