Family night fun at VBS.

Families got to see what their kids had been learning at Vacation Bible School this week as First Baptist Church hosted Family Night Thursday evening. This week�s theme has been �Magnified: Discovering the Bigness of God in the Smallest of Things.� Children performed songs they learned. Children and Families Pastor Ryan McWhorter spoke about what the kids had been learning about as well as their fundraiser, collecting money for school supplies for those in need since the government program which had allowed the district to purchase supplies had expired. The evening ended with a scavenger hunt. Those who found all the signs on the list got a free scoop of Italian ice from Sunset Slush.

High School Sports
(Possible) Future Royals in training.

(Photos contributed.) The BCHS baseball team held a kids camp this week. Players and coaches taught baseball fundamentals such as hitting and fielding. There was also sliding practice on a DIY waterslide. The Royals thank everyone who participated.

Lady Royals softball has two fundraisers ongoing.

The BCHS softball team is selling T-Shirts. Prices and details are in the pictures. They can be purchased from any coach or player or you can order them via Venmo @BCRoyalssoftball Please put your size in the Venmo comment. They're also selling Skweeky Cleen Car Wash tickets, $10 for a $25 wash. See any player or coach to purchase. Both fundraisers end June 27.

Heading north for VBS.

What's a trip north without an igloo? (Made of milk jugs.)

Tuesday was night two of Vacation Bible School at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. This year�s theme is �True North: Trusting Jesus in a Wild World.� There were numerous activities for children including an �Imagination Station,� music, Bible stories, and fun outside, VBS at M. Calvary is from 5:30 to 8 pm each night. Family day will be June 8.
