Food and fun at the fly in.



The Cochran Airport hosted a "Grill and Chill Fly In" Saturday afternoon. People could enjoy hamburge3rs or hot dogs off the grill, listen to live music, as well as take a look at airplanes. A few classic vehicles were also on display. Airport manager Gail Martin said there several upcoming community activities planned for the last Saturday of each month. The Bleckley County High School Invitational track meet was held Friday night in Cochran. There were eight teams in both the boys and girls divisions including future region rival Vidalia.
