Barons win baseball home opener.

Caleb Hill went 3 for 5 with 2 RBI and Max Burke threw five no-hit innings, striking out 11, as BCMS won their region and home opener versus East Laurens 11-3 Monday afternoon. Cash Daniel was 2 for 3 with 2 RBI. Carter Rycroft went 2 for 4 with a double and 1 RBI. Bleckley will host former region foe J.R. Trippe February 11 at 4:30 pm.

Bleckley band members participate in District Honor Band concert.

Five Bleckley County band students participated in the Georgia Music Educators Association District XI Honor Band concert held February 6 at Baldwin High School. Bleckley had one student in each of the bands at the GMEA concert. Pictured L-R are Addison Davis, Henli Jones, Aubree Freeman, Caroline Quinn, and Ezra Sorensen. Students auditioned for the District Honor Band in December.

Barons baseball begins in Hawkinsville.

BCMS baseball opened their season at Pulaski County Middle School's Diamond Day Saturday. They beat Taylor County 6-1, beat Byron Middle School 15-3. Bleckley opens the regular season February 9 at home versus East Laurens at 4:30 pm.
