Tennis teams win at Johnson County.

BCMS picked up non-region tennis wins at Johnson County Tuesday afternoon. Scores were 4-1 girls, 3-2 boys. Region play begins February 27 at East Laurens. Start time is 4 pm.

Tennis teams win region opener.

BCHS Tennis swept their region opener Tuesday afternoon at Dublin. Scores of both were 5-0. Girls winners: Presley Dubois, Kiley Pilgrim, August Oliver, Taylor Herndon and Lilly Farrell, Jaylin Dollar and McKinley Gray. Boys winners: Deacon Farrell. Reagan Scott. Drew Floyd. John Teston and Parker Barrs. Preston Lucas and Everett Childers. BCHS hosts Stratford February 22 at 4 pm.

Barons rally past Dublin.

BCMS baseball overcame an early 3-0 deficit to win at Dublin 7-5 Tuesday afternoon. Noah Woodard was 2 for 3. The Barons host the Irish February 22 at 4 pm.

Early voting for Presidential Primary open.


Early voting is happening now in the Georgia Presidential Primary now through March 8 at the Board of Registrars Office located at 106 North Cherry Street from 8:30 am to 5 pm. Saturday voting will take place February 24 and March 2 at the same office from 8 am to 5 pm. As this is a party primary, you will have to choose either Democrat or Republican. Soccer teams lose to Warner Robins.



BCHS made up the soccer matches postponed from February 12 Monday night. The Lady Royals lost 3-0. Marco Garcia had the only goal as the Royals lost 5-1. Bleckley travels to Washington County tomorrow, start time is 5:30 pm.
