Royals Football Players of the Week.

BCHS Football Players of the Week as announced by the Touchdown Club Facebook page. Offense- Brysen Rogers. Defense- Kelvin Sneed. Special Teams- Zayden Lassiter. Scout Team- Jeremiah Jackson. It will be senior night when Bleckley hosts Central October 30. Senior night recognition starts at 6:30 pm, kickoff is at 7.

Runnin' Royals get ready for sectionals.


(Photos contributed.) BCHS Cross Country hosted the Last Chance Sectionals Tune-up Saturday morning. Both the girls and boys teams finished in first place. Lily Farrell was top female, they had the top six runners. Jack Harrell was top male, they had five of the top six runners. Cheerleaders have great day on the mat despite injuries. ***Updated***

Though BCMS had to make adjustments to their routine due to four girls being out injured, they brought home a first place trophy, their first of the season, at East Laurens Saturday morning.

Royals win at A.C.E. ***Updated***

BCHS scored 21 fourth quarter points en route to a 48-9 win at A.C.E. Friday night. Brody Fleming went 16 of 24 for 272 yards and four touchdowns. Fleming also rushed five times for 100 yards and a score. Kix Foskey ran for 147 yards on 16 carries. Gage Harris caught four passes for 119 yards and two touchdowns. The defense held the Gryphons to 71 yards on 36 carries, recovering two fumbles. They gave up 196 yards passing on 14 of 41 attempts with two interceptions including a pick six. It will be senior night when Bleckley hosts Central October 30. Senior night activities begin at 6:30 pm, 7 pm is kickoff.
