Offense struggles in loss to Veterans.



BCHS hosted Veterans High School Monday night. It was a game the Lady Royals arguably could’ve won if the offense had capitalized on opportunities. Runners at second and third were stranded both in the second and third innings. An inside-the-park home run put the Lady Warhawks on top in the fourth. A solo homer made it 2-0 in the sixth. A leadoff single in the sixth was erased when the runner tried to steal third. BC though would again have two runners on via walks but be unable to score. A leadoff walk in the seventh produced no runs as BC lost 2-0. Emmie Williams was 2 for 3. Bleckley hosts Hawkinsville tomorrow at 5:30 pm.

BCES club spreads kindness in the mornings.

Lady Royals lose at Mt. Vernon School.

BCHS Softball lost at the Mt. Vernon School 9-3 Saturday morning. Ter'Nazia Elvine was 2 for 3 with a homer and 2 RBI. Addison Hill went 2 for 3. BC was supposed to play Pepperell that afternoon but the game was cancelled due to weather. Bleckley hosts Veterans High School September 11. JV at 5 pm, varsity follow at 6:30.
