Royals get needed region win vs A.C.E.

With just two weeks remaining in the regular season, BCHS had to be at their best if they wanted to have any chance at all at a region title. They hosted region leader A.C.E. Tuesday night. After getting out of a bases loaded, one out jam in the top of the first, BC built an 8-0 lead over the first three innings. The Gryphons scored two in the fourth, the Royals answered with single runs in the fourth and fifth. Though A.C.E. scored two in the sixth, BC scored three times, the final coming on an error, as Bleckley won 13-3. Gavin Cole went 3 for 4 with a triple and 4 RBI. Jacob Johnson was 3 for 4 with a double and 1 RBI. Austin Yourn was 3 for 4 with 3 RBI. Walker Boatright was 3 for 5 with 3 RBI. Brady Brannon went 2 for 5 with a double and 1 RBI. Clayton Beck went 1 for 2 with 1 RBI. Bleckley hosts West Laurens tomorrow night at 6:30 pm

The Middle Georgia Community Food Bank mobile food pantry will be at Tabernacle of Testimony, 188 Dinah Street, this Thursday from 11 am to 2 pm (or until supplies run out.) The event is drie-thru, please stay in your car upon arrival.
