Upcoming public hearing on proposed annexation cancelled.

The City of Cochran announced via Facebook that a public hearing on proposed annexations scheduled for July 8 has been cancelled. The reason given for the cancellation was the anticipated absences of city council members and the belief that all members needed to be present so they could hear from property owners and taxpayers. The post stated that the hearing would be rescheduled for August, and that proper notice of the hearing time, date and location would be provided in accordance with state law. All interested parties will receive updated info before the rescheduled hearing. Anyone with questions is asked to call (478)934-6346 or email csummerall@cityofcochran.com
