(Photo courtesy news release.) Tyler Dykes of Cochran is among students dual enrolled in the Diesel Equipment Technology program at Oconee Fall Line Technical College. He’s pictured with fellow students to find instructions to practice setting valve lash on a Detroit DD15 Engine. The Diesel Equipment Technology program prepares students for high-demand careers in the diesel industry, teaching skills in engine diagnostics, repair, and maintenance. Dual enrollment allows students to get a jump start on their career while earning high school credits. See Angie Knighton at BCHS for details on duel enrollment programs.
