News and notes from August 20 BOE meeting.
The Bleckley County Board of Education held their monthly meeting August 20. It was a rather short meeting with it beginning at 5:30 and, according to meeting minutes, ending at 6:21 pm.
Approved was the FY27 21st Century Grant of $322,848. The board also approved moving the ESPLOST account from Great Oaks Bank in Eastman to The Citizens Bank of Cochran.

There was special recognition at the meeting Students from BCMS and Bleckley Elementary who achieved perfect scores on Georgia Milestones were recognized.
