I don't like doing these articles anymore than you like reading them.

Over the past couple of months, have been slowly trying to pay the bill for the well pump replacement in May. Unfortunately, my progress may well be knocked backward.

That's because a frog got into the well capacitor last night. Caused the well to shut off. Plus, a leaky elbow joint had to be replaced. And no, the estate remains unsettled.

I'm attempting to get money from my dad's IRA. But with the estate not settled, unsure if it's possible. Now before you tune out, let me say this. I know these financial stories aren't the reason you come to the site.

Some of you probably are weary of reading them. I'm weary from having to share. But my finances and the site's are interlinked. As I've said before, my personal income is limited.

The business checking account is already being used for gas, car payments, car insurance. When things like the air compressor go out and these issues with the well take place, it puts an even bigger strain on it.

Because not every advertiser does so monthly. Some have done it for a year, some for four or six months. Given the low ad rate of $30 a month, you can probably figure out there isn't a lot of money coming in a lot of months.

It's why I've asked you for help before, and am doing so again. Not only because of this latest catastrophe. But because school will be starting back soon. I'll be on the road more, needing gas more, to buy food more.

There are many ways you can help. Donate to my GoFundMe
www.gofundme.com/f/help-dave-and-bleckley-progress

There's a donate button at the top of the page above the advertisers. Speaking of which, I'd love to have your business as an advertiser. While things are slow now, I get anywhere between 8 and 10,000 hits during the school year. Web stats are available.

Want to wish someone a happy birthday, your favorite senior a good year, announce your engagement or wedding? Buy a special announcement. Just $15, $30 for it to be pinned to the top for two weeks.

I can transfer your VCR tapes to DVD for $10. You can also donate via PayPal (BleckleyProgress@aol.com) or Google Pay (bleckleycheerfan@gmail.com)

My continued goal is to honor my dad by maintaining the site, ensuring it be the best online community newspaper it can. Your help will help me strive toward those goals. Thanks for your continued readership and support.
