BCHS Student Art Show held.

The 33rd Annual Bleckley County High School Spring Student Art Show was held Monday night in the auditorium. The show features works done by students in Lee Darters’ art classes. There were four categories, Art 1, Art 2, Art 3, and Art 4. There was also a 3D art category, a Best in Show, and Judge’s Choice awarded.

Art 2 winners.


Works were judged by Amy Nelson, a professor of art at Valdosta State University. Each winner received cash prizes funded by Citizens Ban of Cochran, Great Oaks Bank, and private donations. First place in each category, Best in Show, and Judges Choice received $50. Second place received $25, third place received $15, and Honorable Mentions received $10.

Art 2: First place, Kaylynn Reardin. Second place Riley Barone, Third place, Zykeria Brown.

Art 3: First place, Kaylin Dopson. Second place, Ricky Morales. Third place, Kaylee Shields.
