Chamber of Commerce holds awards banquet. ***Updated April 2.***

The Cochran-Bleckley Chamber of Commerce held their annual awards banquet this past Saturday night in the President’s Dining Room at Middle Georgia State University. Numerous people and businesses were recognized.

Alaina Owens of Bleckley 4-H.


James Cairney was recognized as STAR Student. He selected Madison Smith as his STAR Teacher. Bleckley County 4-H was given the Community Impact Award.

Kim Hall


Dr. Michael Stoy, Kim Hall, Dani Dykes, Brock Wilcher and Susan Roland all received Appreciation of Service awards for their service to the community and the chamber. Public Works Director Willie Farrow was chosen as Public Figure of the Year.

The Rak Boutique was named Small Business of the Year. Bohannon's Builders Supply received the Legacy Business Award.

At Home Senior Living was selected as Large Business of the Year. Dykes Pharmacy was chosen as Overall Business of the Year. Congratulations to all the award winners.
