BCMS wrapped up their season series with Swainsboro at home Thursday afternoon. After jumping out to a big early lead, the Lady Barons would have to hold (off) the Tigers.

Bleckley jumped out to an 8-2 lead only to see it cut in half by the fourth. Their last run came on a Sarah Vaugh RBI single. Swainsboro got one in the fifth and one in the seventh with two outs.

But they stranded a runner at third thanks to a groundout as Bleckley held on 9-6. Vaugh finished 3 for 4 with 3 RBI. BCMS travels to West Laurens August 19. Game time is 4:30 pm.
