Coverage updates and an important health update.

Normally, I would never miss a home high school softball game. But I'm going to have to miss tomorrow's.

I have a cardiologist appointment at 2:30 in Warner Robins. It's the only day this week he can see me. Plus, I need to discuss things with him including a minor health issue I'm dealing with right now.

While I'll be missing the softball game, I will be there for Homecoming. Have already made arrangements so I can do my usual Homecoming court section. It may not go up until sometime Friday afternoon, but it will be there.

In the past, I'd spoken about working to get to where I had regular mobility again. But I'm beginning to think that it may not happen. I don't know this for certain. But given how I'm still needing a cane over a year and a half after getting out of the hospital, still dealing with balance issues, I'm beginning to think my handicap state could be permanent.

While it might prevent me from getting up and down the field at football games and videoing one act play shows, it will not in any way stop me from continuing to be active. Regardless of whether I'm permanently handicapped or not, my commitment to you, to covering the community, remains the same.

Thanks for reading and your contnued support.
