Kaylee Rae Barrs

With nine games left going to Wednesday’s contest at Dodge County, the Lady Royals needed to try to get wins to climb back up the region standings. Thanks to some late inning runs, they picked up a needed win against their longtime rival.

Emmie Wiliams

Tied 1-1 in the fifth, Emmie Williams broke the tie with a two-out, three-run double. Dodge though answered with three in the home half. Lyric Stephens had an RBI single in the sixth to give the lead back to BC.

Addison Hill

Some aggressive base running on a single by Williams in the seventh got BC another run. Though Dodge had a runner reach on an error in the home half with two outs, Addison Hill struck out the final batter to cement a 6-4 Lady Royals win. She had five strikeouts, Kaylee Rae Barrs had seven.

Cayleigh Francis

Williams was 2 for 3 with 3 RBI. Nyra Waters was 3 for 4 with a double. BC hosts Central September 23 at 5:30 pm..
