Big third quarters propel BC to sweep versus Wilco.

BCHS looked to take the season series from Wilkson County when they visited Cochran Saturday afternoon. Both the Lady Royals and Royals used big third quarters to cement their wins.

Kalyria Jones


Kalyria Jones scored 21 first half points as the Lady Royals led 38-10 at halftime. BC outscored the Lady Warriors 23-5 in the third en route to a 67-19 win.

Ah’niyah Mitchell


Jones finished with 21 points. Zyaire Lindsey scored 15 points. Ja’Nyzia Owens had 10 points.

JJ Stephes


A 9-0 run over the final 1:45 of the first half gave the Royals a 29-15 lead. BC outscored Wilco 15-4 in the third. Reserves played the fourth as BC won 51-31.

DuBois and Friends Tree Service was Saturday's game sponsor. Presenting the jersey to Zeb and Chris DuBois is boys head coach Garrett Collins


Jason McNulty had 21 points. Region play resumes January 27 at Northeast. Girls tip at 6 pm with boys to follow
