The final day before Thanksgiving was a busy one at Bleckley Elementary. People from all types of occupations took time out of their day to come and speak.

It was the second straigh year the event had been held. School counselor Vonda Bryant said they planned to make it a yearly tradition.

Vistors included different Air Force units, a climatologist, cosmotologists, and a bee keeper. Each person was either in a room or at a station. Stations were set up in the lunchoom and gym. Classes were given a set amount of time with each speaker.

Outside, visitors included Dykes Grassing and the GBI's bomb disposal unit. The kids were intersted, asking questions about their jobs, and in some cases, just about them.
