Four Royals move on to next level of football career.

It was a historic afternoon in the BCHS auditorium as four Royals football players signed their letters of intent. The ceremony featuring Bryce Bailey (Middle Tennessee State), Marcus Brown (University of West Georgia), Willie Chambers (Reinhart University), and Arkenzio Hayes (Columbus State University) was the first time four football players had ever signed on the same day. With Hugh Cairney signing in the fall, it brought the total number of players signed to five, a first in BCHS history.
Each player was introduced by their position coaches before signing their letter. The ceremony closed with a prayer by assistant principal Dr. Brad Knox and remarks by principal Matt Gibbs.
