Middle School Sports
Soccer teams split with Jeff Davis.

Brinlee Davis and Emma Becker scored, Edy Coody had an assist on the Davis goal, as the Lady Barons won at Jeff Davis 2-0 Thursday afternoon. Ezra Sorensen had the lone Barons tally, assisted by Liam Woodard, as the boys lost 7-1. BC travels to Dodge County November 4. Girls play at 3:30 pm with boys to follow.

Soccer teams fall at home to Dublin.

The Lady Irish scored the game winning goal with 36 seconds left in the second half as they edged the Lady Barons 3-2 in Cochran Tuesday afternoon. Mikaylee Jenkins had both BC tally�s, Emma Becker had an assist. Liam Alley scored the Barons only goal, assisted by Ben Rycroft, as they fell to the Irish 2-1. Bleckley travels to Jeff Davis October 30. Girls play at 3:30 pm with boys to follow.

Cheerleaders have great day on the mat despite injuries. ***Updated***

Though BCMS had to make adjustments to their routine due to four girls being out injured, they brought home a first place trophy, their first of the season, at East Laurens Saturday morning.

Soccer teams win season opener.

Abby Goss scored twice and Sarah Helen Rozier also scored as the Lady Barons won their season opener versus Swainsboro 3-0 Thursday afternoon. McKenna Edwards had an assist. Ezra Sorensen's first half goal was the only tally as the Barons defeated the Tigers 1-0. BCMS hosts Dublin October 28. Girls play at 3:30 pm with boys to follow.

Barons fall in region title game.

BCMS looked to cap a perfect season and win the MGMSAA title when they hosted Dublin Thursday afternoon. CJ Taylor�s 53-yard touchdown run with 3:53 left in the third and subsequent conversion gave the Barons an 8-0 lead. Dublin though tied the game on a seven-yard touchdown run and PAT with 1:16 left. In the third, Dubin stopped BC on fourth and goal from the Irish six. With 3:26 left in the game, a Dublin receiver got behind the Baron defense and dashed 80 yards to the endzone. BC was stopped on their next possession and the Irish ran out the final 1:44 to win 16-8. The Barons finish the season 7-1.
