The Middle Georgia Food Bank mobile food pantry will be at Tabernacle of Testimony, 188 Dinah Street, October 16 from 11 am until 2 pm or until supplies run out. It's a drive thru event, please stay in your car upon arrival.

A cool night for good music.


It felt like fall Saturday night at the monthly Second Saturday Music and Food Trucks sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce. A cool breeze blew. Though the crowd was a bit smaller, there were still people there to enjoy the retro sounds of the Daniel and Tim Project. There will be another Second Saturday on November 8.

Good finish to season for BCMS Cross Country.

(Photos contributed.) The middle school cross country season wrapped up Saturday morning at the Georgia Middle School State Championships in Cochran. The JV Coed Team won Division 1 state. The varsity boys also won Division 1 state, Jasper Faulk was state champion. The girls finished state runner up.
