"Tale as old as time" retold so very well.

BCHS One Act had their second community performance of this year’s competition piece, “Beauty and the Beast, Jr” Tuesday night. It was also the second straight show in which extra chairs had to be brought in for what was a standing room only crowd. Director Keli Greer noted it was the ten-year anniversary of the last time they’d done the Disney classic.
Both she and community coach Duane Fernandez thanked some of the many people who helped with this year’s performances. Greer also thanked the many community sponsors whose financial assistance helped pay for things such as rights fees. She mentioned former one act cast member Spencer Maddox volunteered to help, designing choreography.

The “tale as old as time” was told with numerous rounds of applause during the performance and a standing ovation at the end. Another community performance will take place tomorrow night at 7:30 pm. Region 3-AA One Act is October 26 at Washington County High School. Bleckley performs at 4 pm. Admission is free. Per GHSA rules, photography and videography is prohibited during region.
