In game one, Jay Johnson’s fourth inning home run tied the score 1-1. Lane Sapp’s sixth inning sac fly gave BC a 2-1 lead. Though the leadoff batter for Heard reached in the seventh via an error, he was left stranded as Bleckley held on 2-1.

Down 2-0 early in game two, BC took the lead on a five-run top of the second capped by Caleb Foskey’s first high school career home run, a three-run blast .

That was followed up by a Charles Elliot sac fly in the third, then by four in the fourth and two more in the fifth. Though the Braves got two runners on in the home half, both were left stranded as the Royals secured their sixth straight sweet 16 berth, 12-2.
