Pitbulls announce cancellation of remaining 2010 season.
The Middle Georgia Pitbulls football team announced Wednesday that they were cancelling the remainder of their 2010 season and listed some of their plans for a return in 2011.

Georgia Xtreme return to action.

| After a long layoff due to vacations and other schedule conflicts, the Georgia Xtreme 11-under baseball team were back in action Saturday at the "Back to School Bash" held at Southern Pines. The tournament was a benefit for a pair of local travel teams. In pool play, the Xtreme went 1-1 losing to the Crew 8-6 and winning versus the Greensox 8-7. Bracket play was single elimination and a loss to the Orange Crush ended the day. The team will be back in Dublin for the "Nation's Baseball Championship Ring Series #1" August 21-22 at Southern Pines. |
