Lady Royals soccer advances to GHSA Quarterfinals.

Ellen Arnold had two goals, and Kyla Davis had a goal and an assist, as BCHS advanced to the elite 8 for the second straight year with a 4-0 win at Bacon County Tuesday night. A corner kick from Jana Tomlin resulted in an own goal and Kylie Reid also had an assist. Bleckley will play the winner of Paideia and Oglethorpe County April 29.

Track teams repeat as region champs.

Ella Gibbs and Caleb Darsey.


Both the BCHS girls and boys track teams won the region title at Monday's Region 2A, Division 1 meet held in Cochran. For the girls, it was their third straight top finish and two in a row for the boys. Ella Gibbs and Caleb Darsey were top girls and boys point earners. Click the link for milesplit.com results. Girls tennis advances to Elite 8. ***Updated April 23***



(Photos contributed.) BCHS girls tennis advanced to the GHSA quarterfinals with a 4-1 win versus Irwin County Monday afternoon. Wins came via second singles Jaylin Dollar, third singles Taylor Herndon, first doubles Kiley Pilgrim and Anna Grace Dykes, and second singles Makenley Gray and Ashlyn Bivona. The girls will host the Galloway School in a GHSA Quarterfinal April 26 at 1 pm.
