Pilot Club thanks Bleckley Primary for support in effort to end Alzheimer's .

Pilot Club of Cochran congratulates Bleckley Primary for their contributions to the Wishing Well to End Alzheimer’s. Students have been bringing in their pennies since November 1. The club held coin wrapping parties, over $2,500 was collected. Top classes in each grade won a pizza party. Top classes were as follows: Top classes were: Mrs. Tripp’s Pre-K, Mrs. Hart’s Kindergarten, Ms. Holloway’s First Grade, and Mrs. Bessenbacher’s Second grade. The Pilot Club thanks BCPS students, faculty, and staff for joining with the Pilots for a very special project that helps people with dementia.

BCHS Beta Club appreciates support of chili cook-off.

The BCHS Beta Club held a chili cook-off prior to last Friday’s home football game versus East Laurens. People could purchase tickets to sample different bowls of chili. Awards were presented for People’s Choice, Judges Best All-Around, Spiciest, and Most Unique. Winners were as follows. People’s Choice (won $200 and gift card to Snow’s Asian Grill), Best All-Around, Ron Daniels. Spiciest, Anthony Barlow. Most Unique, Ellen Arnold. The Beta Club thanks everyone who participated and Snow’s Asian Grill for their sponsorship. Pictured are the winners with Beta Club Advisor Angela Ross and Mi Waters.
